Fitness equipment producer NordicTrack has been around for decades. When Edward and Florence Pauls of Chaska, Minnesota, started building a ski machine in their garage in 1975, they had no idea what they were doing. During the bitter Minnesota winter, Ed wished he could workout indoors. Ski machines were so popular that the Pauls found themselves running a lucrative manufacturing firm that expanded to include treadmills, ellipticals, and other cardio equipment.
It was in Logan, Utah, in 1998 that IconFitness bought out NordicTrack. One of the leading manufacturers of health and exercise equipment is the parent company of ProForm, iFit, and FreeMotion, Icon.

These treadmills have larger running surfaces, plusher cushions, higher incline/decline, and larger touchscreens than the T-series models. Larger motors in the Commercial treads allow for more intense training and the usage of many people at the same time. NordicTrack’s Commercial series treadmills are the company’s most popular.
